Unfortunately hair in 8/10 dishes. Health department informed.
Unfortunately, I have already been on site twice and, despite the "open" sign, nobody was able to be reached, either live or by phone .. - What a shame!
- Not a clean place. - Covid measures not in place practically. - Taste same sauce for lamb, chicken and chickpeas. Food is no way near representing authentic Pakistani food. - current 4+ review rating is not fair for this experience and is really misleading for people looking for good Pakistani food.
I would have liked to eat something, but the shop was always closed at lunchtime, even though the sign was open on the door. Three tries!
We have had the pleasure to eat at Diwan Halal Paksitani restaurant twice now. Being from Pakistan, we can definitely say that it's the Best place to go for authentic Pakistani/Indian 'flavor'. During our travels, we have eaten in subcontinental restaurants across Belgium, Italy, Nederlands, France, Turkey and Germany, and most have missed the spices by far. It's only until we ate here that we realized it deserves a five star review. Plus we like the fact that it's family run, so the give was very nice. Highly recommended
This place is in a house, and doesn’t look like a restaurant from outside; odd location. The restaurant didn’t have a receipt/cashier, and accepted only cash (no credit cards). The food taste is okay, not the best. The biryani came with three dark meat, small chicken pieces on the side, so really not much meat. The Nihari came with decent amount of meat for one person, but meat wasn’t tender and it tasted like Quorma, not Nihari. Slow service.
Best Pakistani restaurant in Bavaria...
The first ever Pakistani restaurant that provides you authentic taste of food. The quality and quantity both are in one place. There is big parking space. The place at night is bit scary, there are no sign boards to follow and reach the entrance of restaurant. The restaurant has taken over from a bear garden and name shields are still of bear garden, which makes it even difficult to locate the restaurant. Entrance is very narrow. Atmosphere is also not so appealing and it was very cold inside the restaurant.
Good food, very homely & relaiable .
The food was delicious. Nice boss ..
Loved the food, very tasty. Nice ambience and open space for kids to play. True Pakistani taste.
Very cosy, nice atmosphere, very good food
Very nice and fresh taste and halal and free parking and location away from the crowd and the staff respected Director / Mohi and cook / Adeel ديل
Great food and excellent service. The restaurant is in a garden area and you can sit outside
Food was not delivered for over three hours.
Excellent halal food. Authentic dishes and freshly made. Very friendly staff and calm atmosphere. Highly recommended. 😋
Food is delicious with cozy environment. But, they keep changing the price of dish and no proper billing.
Super delicious food and good service. Gladly again! (Y)
Great Pakistani food, wonderful service and good prices.
Extremely recommended! If you are looking Indian/Pakistani type good quality, quantity food, This is must to go place. I really like bar b queue, Nihari, kofta curry, naan, halwa poori and lassi both type(mango and normal)!
Some of the most delicious food we've ever had! We had the chicken biryani, beef nihari, and chicken karahi. 10/10.
Excellent buffet on Eid-ul-fitr aka Zücker-fest. Menu included Mutton Qorma, Kofta, Chapli Kabab, chicken BBQ, Pulao, Chana Chaat, Pulkiyan, salad, zarda, halwa puri and chanay. All of them had original and unique taste which experienced in Germany. Mango lassi was also delicious. Beside all of this the price was still reasonable. Would love to try again.
Hands down best Pakistani restaurant in Munich. If you are looking for really delicious and most authentic Pakistani taste in Munich, this is the place. The location isn't central but it's worth travelling for. Highly recommended!!!
I went there two times. Both the times, it was on Eid and it was a buffet. They were unable to manage and they ran out of food and people had to wait for 45 minutes every time before the dishes were refilled. I have heard that single servings on normal days are good but the waiting time is still a lot. Both the times, I have been extremely disappointed!
We wanted to eat there today because it's supposed to be Halal but unfortunately they sell pork as well as alcohol. The ambiente is more of an inn style. So we left before we sat down.
Loved the food and ambiance. This restaurant is run by a family so food tastes just like home made food. So far the best desi restaurant in Munich.Highly recommended. 👌
Voll Geschmackssache Served here .. I ate a chicken goulash with 🍚. People. It tasted full
Amazing food. Best naans so far in Munich. The only Authentic Pakistani food restaurant. 4 stars because they lack management but the rest is ooohwow
Selected Fine Food Kitchen
fine dining experience. Delicious naan and karahi
Amazing genuine pakistani food. Cannot appreciate enough. If you are in munich you have to come here. We ordered their specialty chicken karrahi and was blown away by the yummy taste and aroma.. chicken biryani was so genuine. And tikka was moist and nicely cooked. We were visiting from aus, and had a lovely experience. We dont get this good pak food in aus even. Staff is very nice and kind 😍😍😍😊😊😊 everyone, this is your place for pakistani food.
Nice place to have a dinner with the family. The food was also very tasty.
The food was super delicious. Feels like home environment❤️❤️😊
Felt like home made food.. the manager is friendly and knows what we as Indians expect from an Indian/ pakistani restaurant
I have tried pizza and chicken karahi, it was supereb.
You go in and do not come out until 10 minutes. Not everything is there what they are working on. Must have a lot. Waiting. Cleanliness was not quite.
Nice guys..good pizza...nice Indian meals..
It is more of a delivery service, but okay in the restaurant with few demands on the ambience. The table was set nicely and the Indian food was good. A big drawback is the really ugly toilet that you have to go to outside. But I would go again for a quick meal.
Small but good desi environment. Food taste good.
4 stars because their best item is Chicken Karahi but it's not available on the menu, you have to pre-order it.
Perhaps the best Pakistani cuisine in Munich
I haven't tried any Pakistani restaurants in other cities. But in Munich, Diwan Halal is the best authentic Pakistanti food restaurant. They can also offer things that are not on the menu if you contact them a day in advance
Good place with variety of sub-continental food menu to choose from. Taste good with a cosy environment. Nearest to home cooked food I can find so far in Munich. #HappyEating
great taste, super nice on a Sunday evening! Gladly again
Excellent Pakistani / Indian cuisine but only on request. Recommended
Most authentic indian/pakistani food in town
Genuine Desi teast, really delicious food. Sitting space is not very well.
Great food quality. Freshly cooked on demand. Authentic quality
Very good food, nice ambiance, recommend if you’re looking for authentic pakistani food.
Best Halal food!!
